Hello!My name is Jordi, born in Catalonia, land of agricultural abundance and economic prosperity .... During my 34 years of life I have traveled, cooperated and worked with disadvantaged people in their own cultures.
My motivation for Caminada Solidaria : once you have had a water supply breakdown in your house, and you could not have a shower, cook, drink water or flush the toilet? Do you remember how you felt for those minutes, even 3 or 4 hours?? Well, imagine that for the rest of your life. With stifling heat, and also your parents and best friends depend on you to provide drinking water .... now imagine that what you get is not even from a clean source ...
My motivation is for people of Chad to have access to clean drinkable water when thirsty, and to be able to cook when they need to eat ... as well as not having to walk for 5 kilometers in the sun in order to have access to it. Because like our friends and family; they are people. Just like you and me are.
